In the excitement of the day yesterday, Kiandra forgot to take her "birthday poster" home from school. Her friends, Chase and Alissa, made this for her locker and kept it up all day and students could sign it. Kiandra remembered to bring it home today and I got to see it. She also got the nicest birthday card from her teacher advocate. It really was a great 17th birthday.

Staff vs Students basketball game and pep rally today at lunch. I even got to touch the ball a few times AND I got to take a few shots too...and by "take a few shots" I mean throw the ball as hard as I could in the general direction of where the basket was.
