Even thought today was one of the nicest days we've had in awhile we know the cold weather is coming and today we found a Winter jacket for Kezia.

The girls celebrated the end of exams and their first official day of summer vacay with a shopping trip. I was the lucky one to pick them up and hear about their mall adventures.

Worth the wait...Kiandra has been saving her lululemon gift cards to buy a pair of pants and today she was able to buy the pants she wanted and an accessory using only gift cards.

Spent some time at the thrift store with Kezia this evening looking for the final musical costume pieces for the show. We found a few things as far as costumes go but also this haul: 2 shirts for Kaden, a pair of jeans in BN condition, and a shirt for Kiandra/Kezia. The grand total was $22.01 but I used my $20 gift certificate and only paid $2. (Notice how it was my gift card and the pile of stuff is for the kids…how does that happen? ;)

We may have found the shoes Kezia needs to wear for musical this year...it will be fun to see her walk and dance(!) in these because she's the kind of girl who would (and did!) wear flip flops to her Grade 8 Grad!
